The La Roche-Posay Anthelios UVMUNE 400 Hydrating Cream SPF 50+ is the daily moisturising SPF for dry, sensitive, and medication-affected skin that needs protection and hydration in equal measure. Powered by exclusive Mexoryl 400 and reinforced with Baicalin for additional protection against ultra-long UVA rays, it shields against the full spectrum of UV damage, including the deep cellular damage most SPFs miss. Directions
- Apply generously to the face every morning as the final step in your routine.
- Can be worn alone or under makeup as a mattifying base.
- Reapply every 2 hours when outdoors or after swimming and sweating.
Why I recommend it
Dry and medicated skin is among the most photosensitive skin I see in clinic, and yet most SPFs don't offer enough hydration to be comfortable on this skin type. This one does both.
Pro tip
For clients on Isotretinoin or photosensitising medications, apply this liberally every 2 hours when outdoors, not just once in the morning. UV sensitivity can be significantly heightened during treatment, making reapplication essential.
